Scottish Country Dancing

19:30 - 21:00

Every Wednesday - social dancing. Open to all (adults). Full instructions given and partner not required. Come and join us! Cost £2 towards for hall hire. For more information contact Marilyn on 013397 41225. Note - there will be a short break in Dec 2013, group will start again in January 2014.


Walking Group

Castleton Dancers

Meets in Castleton Hall. Performances most Mondays (Monday over the summer, other times of year, Wednesdays) in the Fife Hotel 9.15 pm. For more information about the team contact Marilyn 013397 41225.


Choir

The choir - 'Wheest' -  meets in Castleton Hall every Sunday 7.15-9pm. Cost £2/session.  All welcome. For more information contact Sue 013397 41516


Explorer Scouts

19:30 - 21:00

The Explorer Scouts meet every second Thursday in the Guide Sheiling. Young people from 14 to 18 years old interested in adventurous activities should come along. Contact Duncan on 013397 41030 for more info.


Traditional Music

Braemar Bairns

Meets every Wednesday at 10.00 -1230 noon upstairs in Castleton Hall  (apart from school holidays). All welcome - mums, dads, residents, visitors, babies, toddlers, bumps! £2 for tea/coffee and kids snack. 

 


Bowling Club

Braemar Third Age Lunch Club

Keep Fit

18:00 - 18:45

Meets every Monday and Thursday in the Primary School.  Enter from the back door.  Bring mat and a bottle of water and two small hand wieghts if you have them. Cost £1 per session. Contact Susie  013397 41382 for more information.

Comunity Council

Meets bi-monthly on the Third Monday of every month at Braemar School. Observers welcome.  


Mobile Library

Visits Braemar every two weeks on a Tuesday (from 10 Sept 2019) and carries a wide range of books, audio books and DVDs.  Find the library between 10-1030am at Kindrochit Court, 1035-1045 at the bottom of Chapel Brae, 1050-1120 am outside St Margarets.  For more information visit Aberdeenshire Council website.


Braemar Village History Walks

Join a walk around the village and discover its history.  Walks depart weekly - Tuesdays at 8.0 pm and Wednesdays at 3pm.  Meet outside the Invercauld Hotel. 


Deeside Knitwits

Meets every Tuesday from 2-4pm at Kindrochit Court.  All welcome to drop in and come along to knit, crotchet, sew .. or just natter over a cuppa!  £2 contribution towards tea and coffees.  Tuition, wool and pins available.  More information contact Rosy at roysathome@btinternet.com or visit the Deeside Knitwits Facebook page

Ukulele Group
