Winter wonderland

Braemar is still the current record holder for the lowest temperature in the UK at - 27.2 °C (recorded January 1982) and although it hasn’t got quite this low (so far this winter...) it has certainly been pretty chilly. On the plus side the scenery has been spectacular and the skiing has been the best for many years.  Glenshee has had 48,000 skier days to date, compared with 43,000 in total last year.  Glenshee is hoping that skiing will continue for many more weeks to come which will raise income to allow it to upgrade some of the facilities.  Everyone is hoping for a busy time over the mid term holidays.
