Braemar’s ‘Walk of Remembrance’ commemorating the start of World War I on August 5th. An apple tree was planted by the community young and old, in the orchard at St Andrews, in remembrance of those men from Braemar who went to war in 1914. Piper Tom Peggy led the procession. The plaque, telling of the tree planted, was unveiled by 92 year old John Morgan. Photo John Macpherson
